Lights, Camera, Action! Week – July 13th–17th (Week 8)

Get ready for a week in the spotlight! During Lights, Camera, Action! Week, campers will step into the world of movies, acting, storytelling, and entertainment. From creating their own scenes and props to learning what happens behind the camera, campers will explore the magic of filmmaking while building confidence, creativity, and teamwork. Field trips included!

Daily Activities

🎬 Monday – Director’s Day
Campers will learn what it takes to direct a movie as they create storyboards, plan scenes, and take charge of their own creative projects.

🎞️ Tuesday – Movie Magic
Discover the behind-the-scenes secrets of filmmaking through fun activities, movie-themed games, and hands-on projects.

🍿 Wednesday – Popcorn & Props
Campers will create movie-themed crafts and props while enjoying fun challenges inspired by their favorite films.

🌳 Thursday – Fritz Park Field Trip
Enjoy a day of outdoor adventure, games, and activities with friends at Fritz Park.

🎟️ Friday – Hollywood Celebration
Campers will wrap up the week with movie-themed games, activities, and a special celebration of all their creative work throughout the week.

⭐ Special Note: We are currently planning a trip to the movie theater during this week. Details are still being finalized and are subject to availability. We will provide an update to families as soon as plans are confirmed.

Throughout the week, campers will also enjoy gymnastics, ninja obstacle courses, games, crafts, and open gym activities to keep energy high between all the movie-making fun.
