While our CAPS teachers do not currently hold formal early childhood certifications, they bring valuable hands-on experience working directly with young children in our program. Our staff members are familiar with our unique blend of preschool learning and gymnastics and are trained in our curriculum, expectations, and daily routines.
We take a proactive and supportive approach to behavior management by creating a structured environment with consistent routines and clear expectations. Our team communicates daily with families to keep them informed, and we focus on building a positive classroom culture that encourages good choices. When challenges arise, we use preventative strategies and work collaboratively with families to ensure each child feels supported and successful.
Safety is a top priority at our Pflugerville CAPS program. We maintain low student-to-teacher ratios in both the gym and classroom to ensure proper supervision. Our facility is equipped with age-appropriate equipment, and we regularly clean and sanitize all surfaces and materials. An integrated restroom is located within the classroom for easy access. All staff are CPR and first aid certified, and emergency plans are in place for fire, tornadoes, and other situations. We document incidents when necessary and maintain awareness of student allergies and food intolerances to create a safe environment for everyone.
