While our teachers do not hold formal early childhood certifications, they bring valuable hands-on experience. Our lead teacher has previously taught in the CAPS program and is trained in our curriculum and classroom routines.
We use positive reinforcement, redirection, and consistent expectations. For ongoing behavior challenges, we partner with families to support each child’s success.
In the CAPS Program, we create a structured and supportive environment where children know what to expect through consistent routines and clear expectations. We use positive reinforcement, calm verbal reminders, and redirection to help guide behavior. Daily communication with parents ensures transparency and a shared approach, while breaks or quiet time are provided if needed. Our focus is on helping children build self-regulation, problem-solving skills, and confidence through consistent, respectful interactions. When needed, we partner with families to develop strategies that ensure each child’s success.
Safety is our top priority at the Round Rock CAPS Program. Our facility is secured during program hours with controlled access, and only authorized individuals are allowed to sign children in and out. All staff are trained in CPR, first aid, and emergency procedures, and we maintain a low student-to-teacher ratio to provide close supervision and individualized attention. Classroom and gym areas are checked daily to ensure cleanliness and remove any potential hazards. Children are regularly reminded of safety expectations, and we conduct fire drills and follow established protocols for emergencies such as lockdowns or severe weather.

What sets CAPS apart from traditional preschool:
- Daily gymnastics to build strength, balance, and motor skills
- Smaller class sizes for more personalized attention
- Ideal for kinesthetic learners and high-energy kids
- Strong focus on social-emotional growth and teamwork
- Prepares children for kindergarten—academically and physically
